Can you get a table top grill at lunch??
Fantastic, authentic, Korean BBQ! I completely recommend you try this establishment if you want the real experience. They even fire their BBQ tables with hot coals, not propane or butane like other restaurants, it was a new and awesome experience for me!!
MoreThe customer service is always speedy, great atmosphere, welcoming employees. Will eat here again when I am here.
MoreI heard good things about Korean food. I didn't know what to expect , but it was good for the first time. I had Bimibap amd is was DELICIOUS. The lady even helped me learn how to eat and mix it. It was good. Very quiet place. Awesome.
MoreThey serve big dishes and for affordable prices. very welcoming staff members. I recommend this place.
MoreThe food was pretty much on point. Definitely recommend if you are into authentic Korean food. All the employees are nice as well. You can tell they care about the quality of the food.
More1st time going...no wait our waitress was freaking awesome I just hate they had her stretched so much throughout the restaurant. It was date night and our first experience and she made sure we knew exactly what to do. Food definitely fresh and delicious and the sujo is amazing. View the pics☺
MoreMarinated spare rib is the tops. All else is great too, but that's a don't miss
I think they have improved since the last time we went - years ago. I had a seafood pancake (haemul pajeon) and fried mandoo. Nice and crispy on both. Pancake could have had larger pieces of seafood. Waitress checked up on us regularly. Price was OK. I will likely start going there when in the neighborhood.
MoreFirst thing to remember, its not fast food. They still use hot coals for tableside BBQ and they offer to help you cook your meats.
MoreGood food.
I usually hit this place when I’m in town. I get the table side BBQ option every time because why not? This place is great. They’re always super sweet to my kids and the food is delicious.
MoreHad the chicken curry.. was amazing... restaurant is in need of some deep cleaning. Menu choices were good and prices reasonable.
MoreI visited this restaurant because it is 6 minutes away from Doraville Marta station. The food was pretty good. Very filling & not expensive at all. I will say the menu is a little intimidating. All the items are listed in Korean & there is an English subtitle that tells you what’s in the meal. A picture of what the finished meal looks like would be a great addition so you know what you are getting. The waitress was friendly. There are many Korean businesses in this area. I’m guessing this is the closest Korean BBQ stop to a Marta station on the entire line. Check them out if you get a chance.
MoreI’m not an expert on KBBQ in the slightest, but I enjoyed what I ordered here. I like that it’s opened late, and my waitress was very patient with me in trying to choose a meal I liked since I never had KBBQ before. I don’t have any complaints!
MoreGot take out during the quarantine. The owner even gave me a bottle opener as a gift.
MoreThe BBQ meat is great and very close to typical Korean BBQ quality, but the price is not for everyone.
MoreAwesome and authentic Korean food! Their kimchi is so delicious.
I like the late night hours, so many places nearby close at 9pm. I like that they separated barbecue and non barbecue eaters so that the grilling doesn't bother people who do not eat the barbecue. Love that they use charcoal and I've never been to a place that switches grill plates in between different meats. I would like the option however of grilling my own meat. The servers just sort of took over the plates and even though I tried to manage my own food when they walked away, it was just sort of awkward and I didn't really know what to say. I prefer not having someone cook over me. Kimchi is decent, dduengjang jigae wasn't very good and too salty. The marinade on the galbi is on point.
MoreMy favorite Korean bbq! I go whenever I'm back in Atlanta. Seafood pancake, squid stir-fry, bulgogi, veggie fried rice and the large meat platter. Get all that. Go home happy and full.
MoreBest korean restaurant around. Can't speak for anyone else. I'm treated like royalty. They always refill my side dish as often as me and my wife request. We love the bim bim bap, beef bugolgi and the spicy pork
MoreIf you aren't familiar with this cuisine try bibimbap with prime rib. You will love it. It's all delicious and very fresh. Cooked right at your table.
MoreThe food was really good. Very nice staff, I definitely will return and try other dishes!
MoreHan Il Kwan is a fantastic restaurant that gives very generous portions. The ban chan is delicious every time. They have a dine in menu and a tabletop grill menu. The tabletop grills use charcoal (which is preferable). I personally favor their hot pots and soups. I recommend the yuk gae jang (spicy beef soup).
MoreIt was our first time at Korean Barbecue, and it was amazing! Some of the best food we've ever had, super nice staff - definitely coming back!
MoreIf honesty is what you're looking for then don't go here. I placed my order by phone at 11:45 AM and arrived there at 12:05 PM to pick it up. The kitchen had apparently forgotten about the order and the server assured me it was just about finished. As she walked away I witnessed her type in my order on another POS register. I didn't receive my order until 12:25 PM. I only get 30 minutes for my break and 20 minutes of it was wasted on waiting. If it were me working there, I would be truthful and let the customer know what had happened so they could at least have another option on a limited break. Again if you expect integrity then this isn't the place for you.
MoreIt was truly a great dining experience with wonderful and friendly service... I would highly recommend the Gal Bi Gui and Hae Mul Pa Jun.... go for Menu A for 6 *$$$
MoreVery good place. First time at a Korean bbq. Went as a team dinner. Lucky my colleague from Seoul was with us. For drinks we had somek and soju. I would go again.
MoreBeen going here since I was a kiddo. 2 stars since the food has always been consistent and good, but the last service just turned me off a bit. This time, ordered food to go, they apparently gave the wrong food. They called almost when I was home and asked me if I could come back and swap out the food. That would have been too hard since that would mean me sitting in traffic for another hour so they relented and instead of processing a return, they said they would give me a credit and told me to eat whatever they gave me (I ordered galbi and yoongaejang they gave me bibimbab and seullungtang). Went back today and ordered the same thing togo - and they said they're really sorry, but they'd have to charge me for the yookgaejang). I paid - begrudgingly- since the waitress said she had to eat the cost for all the food not the restaurant. Eh. For someone who's been going to that restaurant since it was built out for a Chinese restaurant back in the 90s - eh.
MoreThe food is literally addictive. Very authentic. The owner came and cooked at the table for us. I guess she could tell we were completely confused lol. I felt like I was in an anime show! The setting is exactly like the ones in the cartoons.
MoreExcellent ambience and very personal service. The meals were crisp and delightful. Will easily recommend this spot to friends and family. Fair rates and generous portions. Good job.
MoreLove this place. Easy to get to and healthy portions. Very Korean flavors. The staff is very friendly. The kalbi is delish and the bibimbap a must. Great quicky spot.
MoreI eat in this spot a lot since I work right next to it. I got to say their customer service is always great and they keep the place well organized constantly. Rates are affordable and they serve large portions.
MoreA bit expensive, but it's worth it! Best Korean BBQ in town.
My overall experience was so-so. The places was clean and some of the staff members were nice. However, the waitress was very serious. The food was ok.
MoreOver priced!!!!!! servers was not kind 2 people ate check was 163.00 I left $ 25 tip the lady who served us told me tip is $35 and she circled on my check she told this me is what I have to give..... we drank 2 diet cokes and dinner WONt Be BACK..
MoreIt took a while for the server to get to us but the food was delicious. Ribs were very good.
MoreI was born and raised in Korea and I like to go to this restaurant. Most of the food is quite authentic. If this is your first time trying Korean food, get BulGoGi or BiBimBap!
MoreDifficult to review but won’t be back+ Great meat- Expensive ($33 rib eye for example)- Run down with scary parking area with various characters - Mold on peppers and hard tofu... When pointed out, no action other than replace
MoreGreat food, you have to try the kalbi box!
Love their lunch boxes. Tons of food for a great price. And very friendly staff.
The sides were overly spicy, (I eat A LOT of Korean food) but the soup was really good. I won't pass this place up because of that though. Still a really good meal.
MoreI have been this place a couple of times through the years. It’s a kind of old fashioned Korean restaurant. Food are generally good, but price is on the high side
MoreThis spot clearly knows how to satisfy their clients. Regularly with a kind attitude. The food is reasonably priced, regularly yummy and clean.
MoreHorrible service, food was only ok. Owner and the waitress are very rude and mean. Gave 20% tip, but still asked for more. Won't recommend to anyone.
MoreAmazing authentic Korean BBQ, and I should know: I lived in Busan for a year! Love the anju and the kimchi is flavorful and real. Only thing they’re missing are the ‘nyet’ sesame leaves. Had a great Valentine’s Day with my wife. Kamsamnida Hanil House!
MoreThis is my favorite place to eat korean food. Their banchan is so delicious and so is their bbq. I go here when I miss my mom’s homemade korean food. Their staff is so friendly and quick to replenish banchan and water glasses.
MoreWorth it if you bring a decent size group and you order one of the items for multiple people. You end up getting a lot of food and have a great dinning experience. If you have never had Korean BBQ this is a great place to start. Checks took a little too long at the end to come out and get taken care of but overall solid experience.
MoreThis place was really delicious! I got the Gal Bi Gui (marinated short ribs), that you grill at the table. A fun experience! There was a definite language barrier between us and the server, so we were a little confused about what exactly we were getting, as far as sides go. And the server stepped in for a lot of the grilling, possibly because our table had a lot of kids, and she was trying to be helpful. It was a bit chaotic trying to grill, assemble, and eat everything (again, probably due to having too many kids). It was also on the pricier side. But it's definitely a worthwhile experience! We'll be back (without the kids next time)!
MoreHORRIBLE SERVICE. I came from NYC on a business trip and I took my clients and my dad to this place. We ordered a bunch of dish. First they brought side dishes and then we had to tell ask her for spoons and chopsticks. Then after 20 min she brought one dish. After some time when we asked for side dish, she told us to eat slowly otherwise she will charge us for the side dish, even though it was only the second time we had asked her for the side dish. She forgot to order or bring the rest of our dishes. It completely ruined our appetite the way she spoke to us. We cancelled our order paid for some of it and left the restaurant never to return back.
Morethe lady and i had a taste for Korean BBQ and this place was awesome. it was exactly what we were looking for. the lady cooking over right beside my eating hand was little obnoxious but all in all it was a good experience
